The goal of this community forum is to help those who wish to learn more about developing and using the October CMS platform. It is a place to seek knowledge and help others through constructive discussions. We request that you read and adhere to this code of conduct.

Forum Rules

  • Format your posts properly - Use the formatting buttons if you don’t know Markdown. Posts that are incorrectly formatted are hard to read and make it less likely to receive a response.

  • Post text and not images - Do not include screenshots of code, logs, configuration or other text files. Always copy and paste the text into your post and use code blocks (use the ``` characters on new lines before and after the text).

  • Be concise - Write brief but comprehensive text and avoid flooding topics with too many posts.

Code of Conduct

  • Treat others online as you would treat them in real life.

  • Be tolerant towards others’ viewpoints, and respectfully disagree when opinions do not align.

  • Respect the privacy and personal information of other guests.

  • Communicate with courtesy and respect.

Please Do Not

  • Make personal attacks on other community members

  • Use defamatory remarks or make false statements against others

  • Post prejudiced comments or profanity

  • Bully or make inflammatory remarks to other community members

Consequences

Action will be taken when we see someone violating the code of conduct. Sometimes it means giving someone a warning, other times it can be suspending or removing an account. We kindly request that all community members report behavior that violates our code of conduct to one of the moderators via direct message.
