Just for example, suppose you want to modify a model. What can happen to my code if I made some changes (add column to table)?

If I understand correctly, you are looking to extend the rainlab builder plugin in a way you will not loose anything when the original plugin is updated.

I only use the RainLab Build plugin for custom plugin creation. I have some doubts regarding how to use it. What are the effects on the code if I apply changes (by the Rain Builder) and by hand code ?
