We received this error message today:
SQLSTATE[42S22]: Column not found: 1054 Unknown column 'site_root_id' in 'SET' (Connection: mysql, Host: localhost, Port: 3306, Database: -censored-, SQL: update xc_7b9d4e3c2345678901cd234567890abcrsetsite_root_id= 56,xc_7b9d4e3c2345678901cd234567890abcr.updated_at= 2026-09-14 14:49:49 whereid = 56)
For about three months, no one had changed any text or added data in the backend. I had merely been installing updates regularly.
Acting on instinct, I triggered “Save and Migrate” again for the affected blueprint, and everything was fine after that.
Can this be explained?
