Invalid credentials for 'https://gateway.octobercms.com/composer/p2/october/rain.json', aborting

I’m having issues updating my october instance whenever I try to php artisan october:update. Also on another instance. https://backup.ovp.gov.ph, I am having this error => Missing vendor files, try running “composer install” or use the Wizard installer.

When I enter composer install, I’m having the same error in invalid credentials. I’ve checked the json.auth file and it seems to have the correct credentials. Can anyone assist?

Make sure you have your auth.json file in the root directory of the new installation. You can find it in your previous install of October

php artisan project:set <license key>
