Missing Extension Name error when saving editor pages

Hi

I’m using build 4.1.18 on PHP 8.2 and last night everything worked fine when we finished a deadline. This morning when I tried to apply some changes to the homepage and other pages (which contain properly configured sections and collections) I keep getting the error popup “Error Saving Document: Missing extension name”. Even when I try to save any document without applying any changes, this error pops up and there is no entry for it in the logs.

Any ideas why this is suddenly happening?

Hey @abenade

Open the browser tools and check the Network tab after hitting Save. It shouldhave a POST payload in there, check to see if it contains a value for extension. I’m not sure why this would happen suddenly, other than new security rules on your web hosting.

I don’t know what happened, but it just started working again after a while on its own. It seems to be one of those ‘ghost in the machine’ scenarios…
